I took my time and interviewed several builders before choosing Brentwood Builders to build my home. Tyke Johnson is a hands on owner who always picks up his phone to return calls, makes excellent suggestions and has a wealth of experience. Judith Johnson, is equally as impressive and provides a professional accounting of all the expenses throughout the build process. She is also very helpful with design ideas. Their son Ryan recently joined the family business and is very impressive. He has 2 engineering degrees and has been extremely helpful throughout the build process. I would highly recommend Brentwood Builders to anyone wanting to build a custom home in the Nashville area.

Tyke and Judith assisted us with a remodel during COVID. They made the entire process so easy and painless during a less than ideal time. The decision-making and seemingly endless details can be overwhelming with any project, but Tyke and Judith gave us great guidance throughout the process and made our decision-making so easy. Budget was important and Judith kept us spot-on throughout. Tyke offered solutions and ideas for our project that we never considered and Judith's eye for design is impeccable. I especially appreciated the detailed scheduling and the communication they provided. They gave us a clear timeline for the entire project and communicated clearly with us throughout each phase. Every subcontractor they sent into our home was skilled & professional and their completed work was impeccable. I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail that the entire Brentwood Builders team provided. Five years later I still love every selection I made (with their help) and I wouldn't change a thing.
